Computer Science(CS): We will look at the virtual worlds and cyberspace and assess the usefulness of tools and techniques used by humans to utilise computers. Our aim in the programme is to make software and systems both usable and useful. Graduates will have specific domain knowledge of interactive systems designed to support everything from the conventional single user working to e-commerce, virtual worlds, multimedia and collaborative applications.
The dept. offers to the front end technologies in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology through an elaborate setup of laboratories.

Information Technology(IT): Management of computer-based information systems in an organisational context. It has a specific focus on organisational and social aspects of computing. The main aim is to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to develop and manage business information systems.
More specifically, the programme will provide you with the ability to specify, implement, manage and evaluate information systems which are technically, commercially and socially feasible and help you develop critical, analytical and problem solving skills with respect to information systems and their management. There is also an emphasis on transferable skills, which will make it easier for you keep up to date after graduation.


The department of Information Technology offers intensive exposure to latest technologies including E-commerce, multimedia etc. The labs are equipped with latest computer systems & servers in support to the course structure. The dept. offers exposure to the front end technologies in the field of information technology through an elaborate setup of laboratories.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering(EEE): The programme offers a broad range of electronic and electrical power engineering modules. Initially, the programme provides students with a broad base on which their specialist knowledge can be built. The later years have been designed to produce professional engineers with a good working knowledge of analogue, digital and power electronics, electrical machines and power systems with the emphasis on applications.

Electronic Communication(EC): The Electronics and Communication industries continue to be major growth areas both in India and Worldwide and offer excellent job opportunities. What you'll study reflects the wide diversity of communication and data transmission technologies which we all accept as a vital part of our everyday lives from traditional radio, telegraphy and microwave systems to state-of.the-art optical, satellite and cellular (mobile) communication systems. The department has established eleven state of the art laboratories so far, equipped with all modern electronic testing, measuring and other instruments as per the course requirements of the university.

Mechanical Engineering(ME): Mechanical engineering offers a satisfying and rewarding career and remains one of the most popular engineering areas. There is a continuing demand for mechanical engineering professionals. Our programme provides graduates with the opportunity to work in a wide range of high technology industries, able to play a key role in many industrial sectors. The programme is initially broad based and specialises in the later years. The emphasis is on engineering applications and developments that reflects the needs of the modern industry.

Civil Engineering(CE): Civil engineers are employed in all the major construction projects carried out by the state or central government, the railways, private construction companies, military, engineering services, consultancy services etc. Civil engineering graduates can also go in for research and take up teaching or they can open their own independent consultancy services. The course curriculum includes the study of all the basic engineering sciences and is designed to introduce the students to a variety of problems encountered by civil engineers such as : structures, foundation, construction, hydraulics and environmental engineering, works management and cost, transportation engineering, irrigation engineering etc. A civil engineer is concerned with the creation of constructed facilities. The activities involve planning, analysis, design, construction & maintenance of a Variety of facilities such as building, highways & rail-roads, water-ways & canals, dams & power houses, water treatment & sewage disposal system, docks & harbors, bridges, & tunnels.
