Maharaja Agrasen Group of Institutions was established in 2009. The Institute is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow and approved by A.I.C.T.E, Ministry of HRD, Govt of India. The institute is located on the NH-24, Delhi road at a distance of only 11 Kms from Gajraula.Thus, being away from the crowd of the city the institute is situated in a spacious lush green site conducive for academic persuasion.

B.Tech

Bachelor of Technology program is run under the departments of engg. Disciplines. It is a 4 year(8 semester) program after 10+2 with PCM and 3 year program(lateral entry) after Polytechnic in related stream or B.Sc in Maths, Physics. The program is affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow(College code- 493).

D-Pharma

Diploma in Pharmacy program is run under the departments of Pharmaceutical sciences. It is a 2 year program after 10+2 with ZBC or PCM. The program is affiliated to Board of Technical University, Lucknow.(College code- 1297-BTE, 4271-PCI)

ITI

Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) is post-secondary schools in India constituted under Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Union Government to provide training in various trades. Prerequisites for the courses range from 10th class pass.(College code- 2930)

Polytechnic

Polytechnic program is run under the departments of engg. Disciplines. It is a 3 year(6 semester) program after 10 with math and 2 year program(lateral entry) after 10+2 with PCM or ITI. The program is affiliated to Board of Technical University, Lucknow(College code- 1562).

A Brief Introduction about Maharaja Agrasen

Maharaja Agrasen was an Indian King and a Suryavanshi Maharaja of Pratap Nagar (earlier) presently situated in North India. Maharaja Agrasen was a karma yogi, literally meaning a person who conjured prosperity for all. A firm believer of non-violence, and the ideas of equality and socialism. He helped everyone to attain equal status in society.During one of the Yagnas, he realized how futile animal sacrifices were. This realization of his made him a strong protagonist of non-violence.

ITI College in UP

The Maharaja Agrasen College of Engineering and Technology offers five diverse courses- B.TECH, PHARMA, ITI, and POLYTECHNIC. A candidate can pursue B.TECH, and PHARMA after higher-secondary examinations. But, for ITI and POLYTECHNIC, the minimum qualification is a 10th pass.
